Control of traceability

Désialis controlled the tracking of its products well before the last food crises and is in the forefront of transparency and process security. Highly attentive to customer expectations, we implemented the HACCP method early on. The control plan includes recording all information concerning preparation of the product, as well as taking and analyzing samples. From delivery all the way back to the alfalfa plots, the implementation of specific tools has led to a high level of product traceability.

A short and totally traceable product itinerary

A precise sampling and analysis plan is fully implemented.

All quality controls of CAE are conducted by our laboratory specialized in plant analyses. This control involves a precise sampling plan that includes:

  • products manufactured and stored,
  • products shipped.

The control plan includes physical, chemical and microbiological determinations. The laboratory uses recognized technical references included in a COFRAC (French Accreditation Agency) procedure within the ISO system to guarantee its analysis precision and accuracy. The control plan is more stringent than those required by existing legislation, enabling us to be ceaselessly in control of feed safety and to anticipate current issues. This is made possible by state of the art equipment such as HPLC or atomic absorption spectrometry.

CAE is the heir to the rich agricultural history of Alfalfa farming and processing in France. It contains the concentrated intrinsic qualities of fresh Alfalfa plants in an extracted form. The DESIALIS physical extraction process maximizes retention of the original natural fresh state attributes of Alfalfa. CAE is extracted from the "Heart" of fresh young Alfalfa plants. It provides a rich protein-lipid complex containing a broad spectrum of natural active ingredients. It is an excellent alternative ingredient that will enhance and add value to a wide variety of product applications.
